Client: CUHP

The Centre for Understanding of Homeless Populations brings together research from across the European Union to try and understand homelessness and how it is tackled by various countries.

CUHP needed a website to publish the research of their project, it is funded by the European Union and will run for three years. Due to the governmental funding and because they wanted their research to be as widely available as possible, I advised CUHP on accessibility methods and rulings as well as technical issues. To be as accessible as possible and attractive to search engines so their research could be found easily they decided to go with a layout built in Cascading Style-Sheets (CSS.) They have a small annual budget for the website and the first year concentrated on getting the central content management for their publication in place, with promotion and improvements to design to be more important in their second and third years.
