Client: Drake and Cavendish

I was brought in by this luxury hotels directory to add a Google Mini to their website to power their hotel search.

They required specific pages to be searched, certain information to be returned as a description of the hotel and thumbnails of the property to be shown next to the search results. I used custom meta tags to feed this information in to the Google Mini, and extra code in gaining the search results to limit the searching to certain pages and to gather the specific information back in the results.

Information sheets and advice were provided to Drake and Cavendish so they can maintain their Mini and what it searches.

Factors used with the Mini and PHP code:

• Custom meta tags to the searched pages
• Thumbnails next to search results
• Custom search snippet
• Mini set up to exclude pages using session IDs
